Dr. Daniel Wangpraseurt (he/him) is a marine biologist with interests in coral reef engineering and ecophysiology. He received his PhD from the University of Technology, Sydney in 2015 followed by postdoctoral training at the University of Copenhagen, the University of Cambridge and Scripps Institution of Oceanography. His research is highly interdisciplinary and he has received training in coral reef science, bio-optics, biophysics and bioengineering. Dr. Wangpraseurt is Associate Editor for Frontiers in Marine Science: Coral Reefs and co-founder of Hybrid Reef Solutions, a dynamic startup company dedicated to pioneering technologies for reef restoration and hybrid reef engineering.
